Who

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, aged 10-18, from across the UK and around the World and their

Leaders. Leaders wanting to come without girls can volunteer to be part of the camp team.

 

What

A fun and exciting week at camp with a full programme of daytime and evening activities. There will be:

• loads of adventurous and hands-on activities,

• opportunities to develop skills, increase confidence and have fun, and

• spaces to socialise with friends, make new friends and create great memories.

 

The theme of the camp will be ‘the four seasons’.

 

Participants will get a camp hoody, necker and badge. Leaders will be able to buy hoodies,

these will be available to pre-order.

 

Cost

The cost for participants is £380.

A deposit of £80 is required to secure a place and the balance by 31 March 2024.

 

The cost for Leaders is £100.

A deposit of £50 is required to secure a place and the balance by 31 March 2024.

 

The deadline for applications is 31 March 2024. Deposits will be non-refundable after 30

September 2023 and balance non-refundable after 30 April 2024.

 

Camp facilities

Camp will be fully catered from evening meal on 27 July to lunch on 3 August.

Visitors from the UK are asked to bring their own tents and bedding. International visitors are

asked to bring their own sleeping bags but tents and blankets will be provided. Please contact us if this is an issue.

 

Travel

The nearest airports are London Gatwick and London Heathrow, and the nearest train station is East Grinstead. Transport to and from these airports or station can at the start and end of camp can be arranged. Costs for this will be available soon.

 

How to book

If you are interested in bringing a group to Olave 2024, let us know by completing a register your interest form.

 

When you are ready to book, send us:

 

• A group booking form

• A guest volunteer booking form for every adult in your group

• A guest participant booking form for every young member (Guides, Rangers, Girl Scouts, etc) in you group
